What We've Been Up To | Our Family

I blogged a few weeks ago and had so much fun with it. During our first two-ish years away from home, out here at school, my favorite part of blogging was that it helped me keep in touch with friends and family. We travel every weekend right now, so we see a lot of our loved ones more often, but I'll never forget how many cool friendships developed even while we were away.

Anyway! I thought it would be fun to share about what's going on in our lives lately.

I feel like I'm in a dream when I say this... but we have LESS than two months of school left! Luke and I will graduate college together on April 29th. Right now, imagining graduation day is the most motivating thing in the world for me in getting schoolwork done. Luke is still a full time student and I'm going to school part time. That balance has worked really well for us. As excited as I am to celebrate graduation with Luke (man, he has worked so hard), I've been surprised by how bittersweet this upcoming move feels. God has given us a really good life out here. We have great friendships, I have an amazing job based out here, and we just love the daily life of school and living in Phoenixville. We've been trying to make it a point to pray more about the upcoming move. God has given me a lot more peace through that.

I used to think I was pretty good at dealing with change but... I don't know. Haha. I just think about it so much that I have to reel myself back in and remember things will work out. This past weekend Bekah and I got in the car for about twenty minutes and drove around the specific town we'd like to move to. I spent the time talking to God about our house search. He has always provided for us in every season... so I'm looking forward to the post I'll share here in a few months about our new home.

When we move back home after graduation, Luke will continue his job with the church and I'll be home with Bekah during the day. I'm really looking forward to that and feel very blessed we'll be able to make it work. I would love to do some kind of creative work on the side... some more blogging, maybe some illustrating or small projects for people. That's another thing I've been praying about as we prepare for all these transitions.

What else have we been up to lately? Well Bekah is growing like crazy. She loves having fun. She has a deep belly laugh that is contagious. She loves people. Luke and I are just amazed by the wonderful little person she is - so full of love and energy! Often when Luke and I are standing side by side, making dinner or something, Bekah runs up and wraps her arms around both of us for a group hug. :) Love that girl.

That's about it for the Stoltzfoos family right now... lots of changes coming up but we are loving life together.

What have you been up to?
Love,
Bonnie

PS. Did anyone else watch the Downton Abbey Series Finale this week? I've never been more satisfied by a finale... it was SO GOOD. As I watched I kept punching the air and smiling and happy-sighing. What a show. :) We don't have cable so I just watched it here on pbs.org.
