We live in a building that has a ton of sweet families and really wonderful kids. This is the second year in a row that we're having trick-or-treat in the building. Of course, Bekah is way too young to eat candy... or walk door to door... or know what trick-or-treat is... but we'll still be hanging out as a family and passing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters.
I decided to do a few drawings of Bekah in different costumes to help me decide what I should make for her this year. And today, I'm sharing them with you... so now you've got to help me decide. :)
Here's option #1...
And option #2... (the kids I babysit helped me pick this one - they thought her reddish-orange hair made this one a good choice)...
Finally, option #3... (and maybe the silliest of them all...)
Luke works for Texas Roadhouse so it would be really cute to give Bekah a mini version of his uniform. He's cute, she's cute... seems like a good fit to me! Now I want to hear from you, which costume would you pick? And just because I love hearing these stories, what was the best trick-or-treat costume you had growing up?
Thanks for enjoying cute stuff with me! :)
Love,
Bonnie
Since her Daddy is a server... I think the Little Waitress is the cutest! You could dress all the same too! :)
ReplyDeleteBallerina is a very close second though. ;)
Woah that's cute. You could totally be a server with me like Brooke said! We could be Roadhouse family! I bet I'd get a promotion.
ReplyDeleteAny way you could do all three of these?! I mean, seriously, so STINKIN' cute! And I love the illustrations! My best trick or treat costume I had growing up was Princess Jasmine! I did ballet as a kiddo so I had a costume from one of my recitals that was identical to hers! I remember feeling so glamorous! :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh they're so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha thank you, Jessica! :) Hope you're having a good week!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I know what you mean... it's kinda hard to resist trying a couple different ones on her. Princess Jasmine is such a cute costume!!! What a cutie - I bet you were glamorous and adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jenna! :) Hahah I liked picturing her sitting by a bunch of other little pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's making it pretty appealing to me - haha not the promotion.. the matching :)
ReplyDeleteHaha aww. How could I say no to matching with Bekah? :) The ballerina one features the headband you gave her!
ReplyDeleteThey are all adorable!! I vote matching with her daddy - or ballerina! :) They're too sweet :)
ReplyDeleteAww these are so cute! I like the mini waitress because a) it's adorable and b) it matches daddy...super sweet!
ReplyDeleteFor Senior Dress Up Day in High school I was a Tube of Toothpaste...it was so cool, all handmade. :)
My vote is the pumpkin! I know it's a little cliche, but it's just adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

Sometimes the classic things are the best! :) Thank you! You too!
ReplyDeleteWow that toothpaste idea is CUTE! :) haha! Thanks for reading, Anna!
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks Rebecca! :) Is your Bug going trick or treating this year? :)
ReplyDeleteI vote for the waitress because it's something that not everyone does. I'm all for being unique! My favorite costume as a kid, (actually, when I was 16), was a mermaid costume and I loved it because my mom, my best friend and I made it together. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure! My parents live in the middle of nowhere so there's no place here to do it..I'd have to take her into one of the towns nearby and just go down a street door to door. We could, but it would be more fun if we had someone to go with. Wanna take a trip??! ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I know what you mean. If you were in the NY that is like 2 hours away from us, I would have a hard time passing that up! :) My parents used to take us to do fun things like ice skating or bowling on trick or treat night - our neighborhood was sort of exhausting to walk around so those were fun memories :)
ReplyDeleteAw LOVE that is was a group project! I bet you were the prettiest mermaid! :)
ReplyDeleteI think the waitress one is winning... :)
I'm probably really late BUT I love the waitress idea because your husband is a waiter but the pumpkin is adorable too!! Too cute!! Great drawings!
